Private Offering Exemptions & Crowdfunding Chart
August 1, 2016 | By Vela Wood
Private Offering Exemptions (commonly known as “Reg D” exemptions), have been around for nearly 100 years. This year, the final stages of recent crowdfunding legislation were completed and crowdfunding is here to allow greater access to capital for small businesses and startups (we’ve been following crowdfunding for a while, read more about it here.)
To help you understand all of the available private offering exemptions, we’ve compiled details on the old Reg D avenues, and the new crowdfunding ones, into a single page and have created a handy chart for your review. Click here to see more.
Remember that private offering exemptions of any kind are complicated, so please consult with your attorney from the beginning in order to determine which one is right for you, and what steps to take.
